I mean just take a look at that GIF above. Click on Upload Image and Select a new Discord profile picture you made. On the left, click Change Avatar or on your profile picture on the right. Select the My Account tab and click Edit User Profile on the right. Once all modifications are applied, click on the export button. Click on the required editing tool and apply the required functions. Choose import files, select video, image, or song, and upload files to the softwares timeline.
HOW TO DOWNLOAD DISCORD PFP SOFTWARE
I usually just grab and crop images I like, but there are also sites like Pfps.gg that keep a library of PFPs for you to peruse. Open Discord and go to the gear symbol at the bottom-left corner of your screen near User Settings. First, download and launch the software and add media files while choosing the screen ratio. And if you get bored of it later, you can change it! Heck, I change my Discord PFP every few months just to keep things fresh, and you can do the same. If there’s a particular image that really speaks to you, makes you laugh, makes you think, or whatever else, you can use it as your PFP. While it seems Discord is reducing their level of support for the Linux client, adding APNG support would at least allow working around this issue where only PNGs can be copy-pasted into the client, meaning that there would be a way to paste animated content from the clipboard without going through the file uploader. In the end, it all boils down to personal preference. There’s nothing wrong with speaking out on something you believe in, provided you’re not attacking or belittling others in the process.
In the same vein as the memes, though, just be mindful of where you do this and how you do it. Things like pride flags, protest messages, or even temporarily removing your PFP altogether can send powerful messages that show others where your priorities lay.
PFPs on Discord or elsewhere can be used to show support for certain movements and ideologies.
